The first 6 chapters of the new book are more of a historical focus on the state of Florida. There are projects that could include a timeline and they could create a Florida History timeline through the study of each chapter. There are studies of particular people or events that could be focused on as well. There does not seem to be as much of a person focus as the previous book. The history seems to be more general and has a VERY strong tie to economics. There are reading focuses within each chapter.
The last 3 chapters are a VERY VERY STRONG Economic focus. They could be taught at various times and don't necessarily need to be taught in the order they are in the book.
